From July 11th until July 14th from 8am to 10pm Vaidava Street will be closed from Ausekļu Street to Champion Street.  This section of the street will be transformed into a pedestrian zone where visitors can purchase BMX European Championship souvenirs as well as enjoy the atmosphere of the BMX city. Attractions for children will also be available near the competition area.

From July 10th until July 14th public transport bus stops "Valmieras piens" (on Vaidava Street) and "Ausekļa iela" (on Ausekļa Street) will be closed. Passengers are invited to use the bus stop "Valmieras piens" on Rīga Street in front of Vidzeme Olympic centre instead.

Spectators are forbidden to take animals and bikes into the event territory as well as bring umbrellas, glassware, sharp objects and alcoholic beverages of any kind. The spectator area will have refreshments and snacks available for purchase. Visitors can park their vehicles in designated parking spaces next to Vidzeme Olympic centre or in the meadow across Vaidava Street (entry from the intersection of Ausekla and Vaidava Streets). Inhabitants of Valmiera are encouraged to use public transportation or walk to the competition area.

Friday from 12pm and on Saturday tickets to the championship will also be available at the competition venue at the check-in counter.
