The fresh greenery of the spring is already under the snow, therefore the Valmiera restaurants are eager for the gourmet holiday in the city and are preparing the offer for the Valmiera Restaurant Week. This spring it will take place between 9 and 15 April.
Continuing the story of the typical Latvian nature-specific flavours from ancient days to modern, and by highlighting the flavor of the bouquet of spring season products, five Valmiera restaurants will invite you to taste a rich, multi-round meal at an attractive price - 20 EUR.
The spring flavours will be welcomed to enjoy by five restaurants of Valmiera, Kocēni, Burtnieki Counties:
- Restaurant “Rātes Vārti”;
- Restaurant “Vecpuisis”;
- Restaurant “Agnese”;
- Valmiermuiža Beer kitchen (Valmiermuižas Alus virtuve);
- Dikļu pils restaurant.

About the project "Hanseatic Approach to New Sustainable Alliances "
The project of the Central Baltic Sea Region Programme " Hanseatic Approach to New Sustainable Alliances " unites eleven project partners from Latvia, Estonia and Sweden.
Its main objectives are to revitalize the historic Hanseatic League’s heritage nowadays, to create Hansa as the leading tourism brand in the Baltic Sea Region, as well as to develop new and interesting tourism products.
Strengthening the introduction of the “Hanseatic Culinary” brand in modern Hanseatic cities, the Valmiera Restaurant Week is one of the most important events of the Hanseatic Culinary Heritage, offering its ancient flavors in a contemporary style.
