Holiday complex “Avoti” offers new outdoor activities

Printer-friendly version

This summer Holiday complex “Avoti” offers some new activities for everyone – children or adults. Director of “Avoti” Kristaps Matisons will introduce us not only with activities that are brand-new but also with those which will be available after couple of days – “BMX ABC” and “Bee house”.

The latest activity is “Klinšu siena” – an outdoor climbing wall. It is 9m high and there are five different climbing routes – three for beginners and two for masters. Besides in both masters’ routes there are built-in almost 4m long negative angle. For better accommodation, “Avoti” provides full equipment – climbing ropes, climbing harnesses and climbing shoes. “Avoti” guarantee qualified instructors as well. Furthermore, it is not possible to climb on “Klinšu siena” if you don’t have preliminary knowledge. Kristaps Matisons suggests using instructor’s help, at least, for first three times. There are many ways how you can attend outdoor climbing wall – you can come individually, together with friends’ group and you can also organise corporative events together with your colleagues. Prices: for people with preliminary knowledge and with private equipment – 1,50 LVL (~2 EUR) per 1h 30mins, 2,00 LVL (~3 EUR) per 8h; equipment rent – 1,50 LVL (~2 EUR) per 1h 30mins, 3 LVL (~4 EUR) per 8h; training course for individuals – (adults) 8 LVL (~11 EUR) per 1h 30mins, (children under 16) 6 LVL (~8,50 EUR) per 1h 30mins; training course for groups – 20,00 LVL (~28,50 EUR) per 1h 30mins.

Next brand-new activity is “BMX ABC”. The main idea of this activity is to introduce people with BMX cycling – what it is, what kind of equipment does it have and everything about BMX track. During this activity, “Avoti” provides all equipment – BMX bike, gloves, helmet and BMX protective gear. Of course, there will be qualified instructors, and among them – the best BMX cyclists from Valmiera, their trainers and Latvian Olympians. “BMX ABC” is educational and active event for younger and older children, for friends and for families. Besides, it won’t be a non-repeat event – it will be available during all the season (May – October), you just need to apply for it.

Of course, “Avoti” has been thinking about kids who also would like to spend their leisure time together with parents in Holiday complex “Avoti”. Soon there will be a special activity for 3-4 years old children – “Bee house”. It is a tower that looks like a big honeycomb, and there are four levels separated with a large-hole mesh made from elastic rope, through which children will get to the next level. At the top of the “Bee house” there will be a slide where children may go down and start everything from the beginning. Next to the “Bee house” there will be a trampoline. Everything, of course, will be limited with a protective net, that’s why parents may feel free and enjoy their own activities not thinking about their children safety.

In addition, there are also other activities that you can enjoy in “Avoti”. For sport fans there is a golf, mini golf and tennis. For those who love nature – a labyrinth or 2km long nature trail where you can educate yourself about trees and bushes. For those people who love to feel weightlessness there is a special trampoline “Grasshopper” which will help you to make a double flip jump. Moreover, those who would like to see Latvian Olympians in BMX cycling has to go to “BMX museum – fame hall”, where you can find historic materials about BMX cycling, cups, pictures with Olympians and best cyclists and, of course, different BMX bikes.
