Pskov celebrates its 1108th anniversary!

This weekend Pskov - one of the cooperation cities of Valmiera - celebrates its 1108th anniversary! The City Festival will be held from July 22 to July 24. The delegation from Valmiera City Municipality - executive director Jānis Baiks and vice-executive director Aigars Vītols will attend the events of the City Festival and will meet their colleagues there.

The annual international art plein air will be held during the City Festival. This year 12 artists from Russia, Germany, Finland, the Netherlands, Latvia, France and Estonia will take place there. Valmiera will be represented by our artist Iveta Gudeta from Valmiera Secondary school of Arts.
